Like many Marsh pubs this house is adjacent to the church, in fact it was carved off from the churchyard. A warm welcome awaits all who visit both for its excellent ales and ciders and its selection of food. A large enclosed beer garden to the side is ideal for families. Convenient for the Brenzett Aeronautical Museum and for walking and cycling on Romney Marsh. The current licensees have achieved an enviable reputation for themselves, achieving the honour of being the Branch Pub of the Year in 2010 and 2011. Well worth finding it was once the centre of the Owlers (Smugglers).
